Hey Thrifty and Vintage Divas and Gentlemen,

This Sunday the 18th here in Chicago at the Congress theater is a flea market like no other. This isn’t your Grandma’s flea market (trust me I know, I spent plenty a childhood Saturday morning sifting through trinkets and seconds in search of treasure). Filled with Djs, Retro barbershops, tasty treats and cocktails, a photobooth an 70+ vendors peddling their vintage wears, you’ll have more than enough to explore and plenty of treasures to discover. Open from 11 am -6 pm with only a $2 admission fee, just check it out. I’m always looking for new unique pieces to add to my home or wardrobe. This is the kind of flea market where I will find these items. Come early because I’m sure it will be crowded and die hard shoppers will scoop up the best finds first. I’ll be looking for Some knit/lace gloves (so ladylike), polka dot and chiffon tops, and blazers. As usual I will also probably pick up some costume jewelry or accessories.
